Congratulations to Vanessa and Melissa Griggs of Southern Star Stables in Bostwick, FL on their purchase of "Anna"!

Hurrikhanna is a 2004 mare, Trakehner, American Warmblood registered. Sire Chant de Paix (Hol/TB) x dam Capikhan (Trak/TB). She is the product of three generations of careful breeding. Her grandsire, Hurrikhan (chestnut stallion with flaxen mane and tail on the About page) was evented up to Training Level by Kathy Daly. Anna's dam, Capikhan (bay mare pictured jumping pic also on About page), was also evented by Kathy. Anna's sire, Chant de Paix was evented through Prelim.

Anna is nearly 17 hands with wonderful legs. She is very elegant and refined, especially her very feminine, petite head. EXTREMELY athletic mare who could easily be a big winner in the jumper ring. She has been shown lightly in dressage and was brought along very slowly and kindly. She has been hauled and schooled extensively. No health or lameness issues. Anna's dam died within hours of her birth, so Anna was bottle fed by Kathy. This has translated into an extremely affectionate, "in your pocket" type mare that is curious and extremely people oriented. Very intelligent mare with a great work ethic. Scope like you wouldn't believe. Anna was in training at a hunter farm but is being brought to Jacksonville October 15, 2011 to be with Kathy.
